Description
This compatible premium screen replaces the touch panel of your Surface Pro X (2020). It is a high-end third-party manufacture with an OLED panel, designed to look as close as possible to the original part. It is used to replace a cracked or broken screen, one that no longer responds to touch, or that shows spots, lines or a degraded image.
Before you begin, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible. Switch the tablet off completely and unplug the power cable. Use suitable tools, such as suction cups and plastic spudgers, to limit the risk of scratches. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid any excessive heat source. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
After assembly, check the touch response across the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and the absence of dead pixels. Carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the system before heavy use.
