Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the Tab A (2017) tablet. It is used to restore the view of the screen when the current one is cracked, scratched, black or no longer responds to touch. Designed for private individuals who wish to repair their device themselves, it is a third-party part, offered as a compatible alternative.
Before fitting, switch off the tablet completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools to open the chassis without forcing it. Handle the new panel by its edges, protected from static electricity, and never bend the fine connectors.
Once the part is installed, switch the device back on and check the display, brightness and touch responsiveness across several areas of the screen. If the battery is worn or swollen, do not reuse it and do not puncture it. Take your time: a careful check avoids having to redo the work.
