Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display panel of the Tab E (2015) tablet. It is used to restore the display and touch when the current screen is cracked, no longer responds to touch, or shows black areas or lines. It is a part made by a third party, offered as a compatible alternative for a low-cost repair.
Before fitting, switch off the tablet and disconnect it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with tools suited to small screws. If the battery is worn or swollen, do not puncture or bend it: disconnect it before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid static discharges by touching a metal ground before handling the components.
After replacement, switch the device back on and check the touch in the corners, the evenness of the brightness and the absence of abnormal noises. If a battery was replaced at the same time, complete a few full charge cycles before judging its battery life. Keep the device at a moderate temperature during these first uses.
