Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged display of a OnePlus 6. It is a complete screen assembly, which restores the touch and visual display of your smartphone. It suits cracked glass, dark areas, coloured lines or an unresponsive touchscreen.
Before you start, switch off the phone and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use suitable tools, a suction cup and a plastic spudger to separate the frame without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat or static discharge. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a phone whose battery is swollen.
After assembly, check the touch, brightness, colours and sensor function before closing the phone for good. Carry out a few full charge cycles to check how the whole assembly behaves.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use a suction cup and a plastic spudger to avoid damage
- Avoid static electricity and excessive heat during assembly
- Check the touch and display before closing the phone
- Never puncture or bend the battery and do not use a swollen battery
