Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Poco M5s. It is used to restore the image when it is cracked, broken, frozen, or when certain areas no longer respond to touch. It is a replacement part made by a third party, designed to fit the Poco M5s model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a tray so they do not get lost. Gently warm the edges of the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting to loosen the adhesive without forcing it.
Once assembly is complete, check the touch function, brightness, colours and sensors before closing the casing fully. Compatible screens may show slight differences in display compared with the current part, which is normal. If the screen is slow to light up or a band appears, disconnect the device again and check the ribbon cables.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any handling.
- Warm the edges gently on a moderate heat setting to loosen the adhesive.
- Avoid static electricity: work on an antistatic mat.
- Check touch, brightness and sensors before closing.
- Never force the ribbon cables: they tear easily.
