Description

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid discharging the electronics. Use suitable tools, do not force the connectors or ribbon cables, and do not drill or bend any component.
After fitting, check that the screen works properly: touch across the whole surface, brightness, colours, proximity sensor and charging. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully. A swollen or damaged battery must never be used.
