Description
This compatible screen replaces the display panel of the V10 model when it is cracked, scratched, or no longer responds to touch. It provides the display and touch function of the device, as a replacement for the current part.
This part is made by a third party and offered as compatible with the V10 model. Before starting, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if the procedure calls for it, and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible to avoid electrostatic discharge. Always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch response over the whole surface and the quality of the connections before closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Moderate heat is enough when lifting the old screen, and it is advisable to check the ribbon cables before screwing everything back together.
