This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Sony Xperia 5 when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, or certain areas no longer respond to touch. It is a third-party part designed to fit the Xperia 5 model.
For fitting, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with a suitable screwdriver and suction cups or a plastic spudger. Switch off the phone before any work. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid bending or forcing the connectors. Protect yourself from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before you start.
After replacement, check full functionality: brightness, touch across the entire surface, proximity sensors and camera. If your device's battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it. Keep heat moderate during fitting.
