Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch screen and display of a Sony Xperia E4 when it is cracked, scratched, black or no longer responds correctly to touch. It is a third-party part designed to fit the Xperia E4 model and restore the display and touch surface of your phone.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your level of DIY skill allows. Work on a flat, clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and suction cups or a plastic spudger to gently separate the screen from the chassis. Avoid bending or applying excessive pressure to the ribbon cable, and protect your components from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the part.
Once the new screen is fitted, switch the device back on and check the display, brightness, touch response across the whole surface and the proper operation of the sensors near the screen. If the current part is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care, as it contains a lithium battery. Do not puncture, bend or expose the components to strong heat.
