Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a Sony Xperia E5 whose glass is cracked, whose image is distorted or whose touch no longer responds. It is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed to fit this model.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a flat, clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup or opening tool to gently separate the screen assembly. Avoid excessive force on the connectors and protect yourself from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the part.
After reassembly, check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before fully closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
