Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Sony Xperia L1. It is a replacement part made by a third party, designed to fit the Xperia L1 model. It serves to restore the display when the glass is cracked, when the image is broken, mottled or missing, or when the touchscreen no longer responds properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your disassembly requires it. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the chassis without forcing it. Handle the screen by its edges to avoid electrostatic discharge and marks on the surface.
Once the new screen is fitted, check its operation before closing everything up for good: display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and sensors. Avoid excessive heat during the repair and never puncture or bend a lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
