Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display panel of a damaged Sony Xperia L2. It restores the display and touch function when the panel is cracked, scratched or no longer responds properly. It suits the most common faults on this model: screen broken after a drop, touch zones no longer responding, frozen image or partial display.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to avoid bending the ribbon cable or the frame. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, check touch response across the whole surface, brightness and the absence of black areas before closing the device completely. On first power-on, leave the battery to charge fully, then run a few charge cycles to stabilise it.
