Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display panel of your Sony Xperia M4. It is used to restore the image when the current screen is cracked, scratched, black or no longer responds to touch. For a compatible part made by a third party, check on receipt that the model stated matches your phone.
Before starting, switch off the device and remove the battery if the design allows it. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit place and at room temperature. Use suitable tools, a tray for the screws and a suction cup to lift the screen carefully. Never force the connectors and avoid static discharge, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and check the display, brightness, touch response across the whole surface and the sensors near the screen. If a lithium battery is present, do not puncture or bend it; a swollen battery must no longer be used.
