Description
This compatible screen is designed for the Sony Xperia X Compact. It replaces the touch panel and display of the current part when that one is cracked, scratched or no longer responds correctly to touch. It restores a usable display for reading, browsing and using your phone's everyday apps.
This part is made by a third party and corresponds to the Compatible quality. It is intended for a low-cost repair. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace and have small tools suited to the screws to hand. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery; if it is swollen, do not use it.
After fitting, check the screen's operation, touch responsiveness across the whole surface, brightness and the proximity sensor detection during a call. If a problem appears, recheck the connectors and the seating of the ribbon cables before concluding.
