Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the Sony Xperia X. It is used to restore viewing and touch control when the glass is cracked, when the display shows lines, spots or no image at all. The part is a third-party manufacture, designed to fit the Xperia X model.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with a suitable tool to avoid scratching or bending the connectors. Limit heat when opening the device, and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding touching the contacts directly.
After reassembly, check the display, touch response and brightness for several minutes before closing the case for good. If a fault appears, reseat the ribbon cables before any other intervention. Do not puncture, do not bend, and never use a swollen battery.
