Description
This compatible screen replaces the current screen of a Sony Xperia XZ1. It is used to restore the display and touch surface when the glass is cracked, the image is partly missing or touch no longer responds properly. It is a part made by a third party, offered as a compatible alternative for repairing your device.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and work on a clean surface, away from dust. Use suitable tools to open the chassis without forcing it, and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Avoid any contact with electronic components and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface.
After fitting, check the display, brightness and touch across the whole surface before closing the device. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Once the repair is finished, carry out a few full charging cycles to check the stability of the whole unit.
