Description
This compatible screen replaces the panel and touch glass of the current part on the Y7 (2018). It restores the display and touch function when the screen is cracked, broken, or no longer responds properly. The part is made by a third party and offered in a version compatible with the model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, suction cups and a flat plastic spudger. Work on a clean surface and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Avoid excessive heat to lift the glass and never force the ribbon cables.
After fitting, check the display, brightness and touch across the whole surface, as well as the sensors near the top of the screen. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Disconnect it before handling the ribbon cables.
