Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged touch panel and display of an ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser. It helps restore a clear image and a responsive touch surface when the glass is cracked, the display shows black areas or lines, or the touchscreen no longer responds properly. It is a third-party part, suited to this model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Open the casing carefully, without forcing it, and disconnect the ribbon cables before removing the current screen. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch area across the whole screen and the camera before closing the device completely. If the phone becomes unusually hot, stop the procedure. Once reassembled, carry out a few full charging cycles to check the stability of the whole unit.
