Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your ZenFone 3 Deluxe. It is the part you touch and look at constantly: a cracked glass, a frozen image, areas that no longer respond to touch or abnormal brightness are typical faults it can fix.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a flat, clean surface, with a small suitable screwdriver and suction cups or a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the chassis. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Avoid excessive heat to loosen the glass.
Once the new screen is fitted, check touch response across the whole surface, image sharpness and the correct operation of the sensors near the screen before fully closing up. It is advisable to carry out a few full charge cycles so the phone stabilises. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
