Description
This compatible screen replaces the display panel and touch layer of a ZenFone 4 Pro. It is used to restore a readable image and a responsive touch area when the screen is cracked, broken or no longer responds properly. It mainly fixes visible display faults, black areas or faulty touch responses.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the disassembly guide recommends it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so as not to damage the ribbon cables. Never force the connectors and take the time to clip them in properly.
After reassembly, switch the device on and check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before closing the casing completely. If a swollen battery is present, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Avoid excessive heat during the repair.
