Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a damaged ZenFone Live. It helps restore a sharp image and a responsive touch area when the glass is cracked, the display shows lines or black areas, or the touch no longer responds properly. This is a compatible part, made by a third party, and not an original manufacturer part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Warm the screen edges lightly with a hair dryer at a moderate temperature to soften the adhesive, never going beyond lukewarm. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check the operation before fully closing the casing: display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and sensors. Reconnect the battery only once the ribbon cables are properly positioned. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
