Description
The 2UUL SD90 screw extractor is a repair tool designed to remove screws that are damaged, seized or whose head has been worn down during work on an electronic device. It suits all models of smartphones, tablets and computers, depending on the screws you encounter during the repair.
This tool holds a screw and unscrews it without spinning or further damaging its seat. It lets you open a casing and replace a battery, a screen or a connector without forcing anything and without harming neighbouring parts. It is a compatible product made by a third-party manufacturer.
Before you start, prepare a clean work surface and switch off the device. Work with antistatic tweezers or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity. Use moderate heat if adhesive is present, and never force the screw. After reassembly, check that all components are securely fixed and that the device starts normally.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Apply straight pressure to avoid tearing the screw head
- Do not force it: a seized screw often loosens with small movements
- Protect the electronics from static electricity while you work
- Check the fit and operation of the device after reassembly
