Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that covers the back of your iPhone 13 Pro. It protects the chassis and internal components, and lets light reach the camera module and the wireless charging coil. This compatible part is designed for models A2638, A2483, A2636, A2639 and A2640.
It is used to replace a rear glass that is cracked, scratched or broken after a fall. A damaged glass can also let dust and moisture in, and interfere with wireless charging. Replacement restores a clean and watertight back, provided the fitting is done carefully.
Before starting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery, especially before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a tray for the screws, and use moderate heat to loosen the glass without forcing it. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. After fitting, check wireless charging and the condition of the camera module, then test the device over several full charge cycles.
