Description
This compatible back glass replaces the current part of your 40 mm Apple Watch Series 6. It protects the back of the watch, where the health sensors are located, and keeps the case sealed. A cracked or scratched back glass can interfere with heart rate measurement and let dust or moisture in. This part is made by a third party and designed to fit the Series 6 40 mm model.
Before you start, switch off the watch and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Use a suitable opening tool and a soft cloth so you do not scratch the case. Avoid excessive heat so you do not damage the lithium battery. Be careful with static electricity and never bend the battery. If it looks swollen, stop using the device.
After fitting, check that the glass is firmly attached and that the seal is correctly positioned. Then test the sensors and water resistance before putting the watch back into service.
