Description
The internal speaker, also called the earpiece, is the small component that plays your caller's voice when you make a call on your One 5G Ace (XT2113 / 2021). It is usually located at the top of the screen, near the front camera. This replacement part is a version compatible with the One 5G Ace (XT2113 / 2021), made by a third-party manufacturer.
A worn or dirty earpiece can produce a muffled, faint or crackling voice during calls, or make sounds inaudible. Replacing this part generally restores clear listening, provided the fault really comes from the speaker and not from software or a blocked grille.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface with as little static electricity as possible, and note where each screw goes. After reassembly, check the sound with a test call and a video, then check the seal if your model has one.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching ribbon cables and connectors
- Note the position of the screws so you can put them back in the right place
- Do not bend the ribbon cables and handle them with care
- Test the sound with a call and a video before closing the device
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
