Description
The internal speaker, also called the earpiece, is the small component that plays your caller's voice when you make a call on your One Macro (XT2016 / 2019). It is usually located at the top of the screen, near the front camera. This replacement part is a version compatible with the One Macro (XT2016 / 2019), made by a third-party manufacturer.
A worn or dirty earpiece can produce a muffled, faint or crackling voice during calls, or make sounds inaudible. Replacing this part generally restores clear listening, provided the fault really comes from the speaker and not from software or a blocked grille.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface with as little static electricity as possible, and note where each screw goes. After reassembly, check the sound with a test call and a video, then check the seal if your model has one.
