Description

Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and handle the ribbon cables carefully so you do not bend them. Also discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the sound at several volume levels, listening to music and then a call. Check that no background noise appears and that the casing is properly closed. If a lithium battery is present, never puncture or bend it; if it is swollen, do not attempt to use it.
