Description
This speaker, compatible with Galaxy Tab E 8.0" (2016), lets you replace the current part in your device. It reproduces sound during calls, videos and music. When it is faulty, you often notice a crackling, weak or missing sound, and sometimes distortion at high volume. Replacing it usually restores normal sound, provided the fault really comes from the speaker and not from another part of the device.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Gently remove the connectors and screws so you do not damage the neighbouring ribbon cables, then note the position of each component.
After fitting, check the sound by testing calls, music and a video at several volume levels. If the sound remains weak or distorted, make sure the connector is firmly seated and the part is correctly positioned. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully.
