Description
This waterproof screen seal is designed for the iPhone 16 Pro Max model. It is a frame-shaped seal placed between the front glass and the chassis of the device. Its role is to protect the inside of the phone against dust and water splashes, and to help hold the screen in place. It is often needed when the screen has been replaced, when the seal has come loose, is deformed or worn, or when moisture ingress has been found.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It therefore allows you to replace a damaged seal, without guaranteeing equivalence with the current part. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if you open the casing, and avoid any contact with electronic components. Work in a clean, dry place, with a plastic tool to lift parts without forcing. Clean the bonding surfaces thoroughly.
Once the seal is fitted, check that it adheres well all around its edge and that the screen shows no play. Do not reconnect the battery if it is swollen: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and stop using it. Let the adhesive cure before fully closing the device.

- Check the seal adheres along its entire edge
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
