Description
The OnePlus 7T seal is a sealing component that sits between the frame and the front or rear part of the device. Its role is to protect the interior against dust, water splashes and humidity, while keeping the casing tightly closed. When it is worn, damaged or peeling off, the sealing is no longer guaranteed: water ingress can occur, the casing can come loose and rattles or play may be noticeable.
This original manufacturer seal, or official Service Pack part, is intended for private individuals who repair their own device. It is designed to restore the original behaviour once correctly fitted. Prepare your workspace, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any opening. Clean the contact surfaces carefully so that the seal adheres well, without using any metal tool that could scratch the frame.
After fitting, check that the casing closes without forcing and that no play remains. Visually check the alignment of the seal all around. Avoid excessive heat during fitting and handle the components with care.
