Description

This opening kit gathers the basic tools needed to lift the back glass of an iPhone without forcing or damaging the frame. It lets you pry carefully, loosen the adhesive that holds the glass in place and remove the small metal fixing parts. It is mainly used when replacing the back glass, but also to access the inside of the device during a battery or charging flex intervention.

This kit is a compatible part made by a third party, not an original part. It suits all models, but the quality of the tools may vary from one batch to another. Before you start, work on a flat, clean surface, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if you need to remove flex cables. Moderate heat can help soften the adhesive, but never heat the phone to the point where it feels hot in your hand.

While opening, proceed slowly and avoid bending the housing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it. After reassembly, check that the glass is properly seated, that the buttons respond and that the device does not overheat.
