Description
This kit brings together replacement screws compatible with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. They are used to fasten the various internal and external components of the phone when you open the device for a repair, for example to replace the current screen or the worn battery. A screw that is loosely tightened or lost can cause play, a noise inside or a fragile fixing of the motherboard and the flex cables, which is why a complete kit is handy.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit work surface, with a magnetic mat or a container to sort the screws by position. Take the time to note or photograph them as you disassemble so you do not swap them. Work at a moderate room temperature, avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal object, and disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables.
After reassembly, check that each screw is in place without forcing it, that the screen closes without play and that the phone switches on properly. If the battery has been replaced, run a few full charge cycles to let the system adapt. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery any more.
