Description
This kit contains screws compatible with the iPhone 13 Pro, in gold colour. It is used to refit or replace the screws that hold the frame, the internal covers and certain components of the device. Lost, damaged or cross-threaded screws can cause play, noise when handling, or misalignment of parts during a repair.
Before you start, switch off the device and place it on a clean, well-lit work surface. Keep the screws in a small tray or on a magnetic mat, noting where each one goes, as they are not all the same length. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface, and never force a screw: overtightening can damage the thread or the component.
After reassembly, check that all the screws are secure, that the frame does not move and that nothing rubs inside. Only switch the device back on once reassembly is complete, and test its operation before using it again day to day.
Tips
- Note the position of each screw before removing it
- Use a magnetic mat or a tray so nothing gets lost
- Never force a screw, tighten it gently
- Disconnect the battery before any work on the flex cables
- Check the frame and operation after reassembly
