Description
This kit contains compatible screws for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, in silver. These screws are used to fix the internal components of the device, such as the logic board, the battery or the frame. During a repair, screws can sometimes be lost, damaged or rusted: having a complete set lets you reassemble the device neatly and ensure a stable fixing.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace and store the screws in a small tray, noting where each one goes. Use a suitable screwdriver to avoid overheating the screws or damaging their heads. Disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables, and never bend a lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
After reassembly, check that all the screws are tight without forcing them and that the frame has no play. Then check that the screen, buttons and charging are working properly. For a replaced battery, plan a few full charge cycles before judging its battery life.
Tips
- Note the position of each screw before dismantling the device
- Use a suitable screwdriver so you do not damage the heads
- Never force a tightening: an overtightened screw can snap
- Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables
- Check that everything works properly after reassembly
