Description
This kit contains 100 black screws compatible with the iPhone 16. It is used to refit or replace the screws that hold the various components of the device in place, such as the inner cover or the internal brackets during a repair. A screw lost or damaged when opening the device can prevent the casing from holding properly or cause an annoying play. This kit therefore gives you replacement screws to cleanly finish your repair.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with a mat or tray to store each screw by its position. Use a suitable screwdriver, choosing a bit of the right size so you do not damage the screw heads. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with conductive parts as well as static electricity. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery appears swollen.
Once assembly is complete, check that each screw is firmly tightened without forcing it, that the casing lines up correctly and that no component moves. Then switch on the device and check that it works before fully closing it up. Compatible screws are not identical to the current part in every respect, so take the time to compare their size and head before using them.
