Description
This kit groups together screws compatible with the iPhone 17, in silver. They are used to secure the device's internal components and to refit the casing after a repair. If you have lost a screw or if one of them is damaged, this kit can help you close your phone neatly without forcing the casing.
Before you begin, prepare a clean, well-lit work surface. Keep the screws in a small tray or on a magnetic mat so they do not get mixed up, as their lengths may differ. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables. Avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface before handling components. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen cell.
After reassembly, check that each screw is correctly placed, that none protrudes, and that the casing fits without play. Tighten gently: an over-tightened screw can crack the plastic or glass. Then power on the device and check its operation before closing it up completely.
