Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and the display of the current part on a Samsung Galaxy Grand (2012). It is used to restore the display when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, or the touch area no longer responds properly. This is a third-party part, offered in a version compatible with this model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and small screws kept carefully so you don't lose them. Avoid excessive heat when lifting the panel and handle the ribbon cables gently, as they tear easily. Also protect yourself from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once assembly is complete, switch the device back on and check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface. Also check the edges and the seal before refitting the case. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully and check that it shows no swelling or unusual heat.
