Description
This compatible screen replaces the current screen of your Tab 2 (2012) tablet. It is a part made by another manufacturer, designed to fit this model. It is used to replace a cracked or scratched screen, a touchscreen that no longer responds, or a display showing black or distorted areas.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a flat, clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup to lift the glass. If your device contains a battery, locate it: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before you begin.
Once the fitting is complete, check the operation before fully closing the housing: display, touch across the whole surface, brightness and button response. If the battery was disconnected, recharge the device gradually and watch that it does not overheat.
