Description
The fingerprint sensor is the part that recognises your finger to unlock the device and confirm certain payments. On a Realme GT Master, this part is connected to the motherboard by a thin ribbon cable. When it is faulty, the device may no longer recognise your fingerprints, respond slowly, or stop responding to touch on the sensor.
This part is a compatible version made by a third-party manufacturer. It performs the same function as the current part, but its performance may differ slightly depending on the device settings. Before you start, switch your Realme GT Master off completely, remove the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean surface. Avoid bending the ribbon cable and protect the device against static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the sensor by registering a fingerprint again. Check that unlocking works with several fingers and that the part does not overheat abnormally. If the device no longer starts or a battery appears swollen, stop immediately and do not use it any further.

- Handle the ribbon cable with care, it tears easily

- After fitting, register a fingerprint again to test the sensor
