Description
This fingerprint sensor is the part that recognises the finger placed on the button or dedicated area of your Poco C75 device. It sends the fingerprint image to the system, which compares it with the stored fingerprints to unlock the screen, confirm a purchase or access an app. When it no longer responds, the device no longer recognises the saved fingers, or the feature disappears from the settings, which is the typical fault this part is used to fix.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party and not original. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the model's guide provides for it, and work on a clean surface with an anti-static tool to avoid discharging the part. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it or pulling on the cable, and check that the connector is firmly seated before closing up.
After reassembly, switch the device back on and add a fingerprint again in the security settings. Test several fingers and several positions to confirm correct operation. If your device's battery is swollen or damaged, do not intervene and stop using it.
