Description
The Realme GT 6 SIM reader is the small connector that holds your phone's SIM card and links it to the motherboard circuit. When it wears out, gets dirty or cracks, the phone may stop detecting the SIM card, show "No SIM", or lose network connection intermittently. This compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer, lets you replace the faulty component without changing the whole device, making it an economical option for a home repair.
Before you start, switch the Realme GT 6 off completely, remove the case and the SIM card, then disconnect the battery where the disassembly guide calls for it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the gold contacts with greasy fingers. Do not bend the flex cable, and handle the screws with a suitable screwdriver so you do not damage them.
Once the part is fitted, check that the SIM card is detected before fully closing the device. Turn the phone back on, test calls and mobile data, then refit the screws and the case. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully.
