Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static tool and avoid bending ribbon cables or forcing the connectors.
After reassembly, check the display at different brightness levels and make sure there are no dark zones or flickering. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture it.
