Description
This rear camera lens for OnePlus One is the transparent cover placed in front of the device's camera sensor. It protects the optics from impacts, dust and fingerprints, and lets light reach the sensor. When it is cracked, scratched or broken, photos can become blurry, show reflections or spots, even if the sensor itself still works properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model's design allows it. Warm the area gently with a hairdryer on a low setting to soften the adhesive, then remove the old lens with a suction cup and a thin plastic tool. Work on a clean surface, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal earth before handling the part.
Once the lens is fitted, clean it with a lint-free microfibre cloth, then check photo sharpness in daylight and at night. Never bend or puncture a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.

- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before starting
- Warm the area gently to release the adhesive, without overdoing it
- Handle the lens by its edges to avoid leaving marks
- Clean the new lens with a microfibre cloth
- Test photo and video before closing the device
