Description
The iPhone XS camera lens is the transparent glass that protects the rear camera's lens. It sits directly above the sensor and lets light through to it. When it is scratched, cracked or covered in dust, photos can look blurry, hazy or stained, even though the sensor still works correctly.
This replacement part is a compatible lens, made by a third party. It lets you restore the camera module of your iPhone XS at low cost. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, flat surface. Avoid excessive heat so you do not damage the adhesive, and handle the lens by its edges so you leave no fingerprints. Static electricity attracts dust, so work in a calm place.
After fitting, check that the lens is correctly seated, with no play or dust between the layers, then take several photos by day and by night to check sharpness. If the device shows signs of a swollen battery, stop using it and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
