Description
This set contains 100 adhesive seals compatible with the camera of the iPhone 7 Plus. It is an adhesive seal, to be placed around the rear lens to keep the phone sealed and protect the camera module from dust and moisture. This seal is mainly used to replace a worn, detached or torn part, which can happen after a previous opening of the phone or over time.
Before starting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if you open the phone. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a flat, non-metallic tool to lift the old seal without touching the camera ribbon cable. Clean the area carefully with isopropyl alcohol to remove adhesive residue before fitting the new seal.
Once the seal is in place, check that it sits flat all the way around and that the camera works properly before closing the device completely. Handle the components with care and avoid static electricity.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Remove the current part with a flat, non-metallic tool
- Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol before fitting
- Fit the seal without bending or stretching the adhesive film
- Check the camera and the seal before closing the phone
