Description
This pack contains 100 self-adhesive gaskets compatible with the iPhone 8 Plus. It is a gasket-type part designed to seal and hold the area around the camera module in place. Once fitted, the gasket helps protect the inside of the device against dust and moisture, and it limits movement of the camera module when the device is handled.
This part is made by a third party and comes as a pack of 100 units, giving you spares for several repairs. Before you start, remove the battery to avoid any risk, and work on a clean surface away from static electricity. Take time to clean the area where the gasket will be stuck, removing any traces of old adhesive without scratching the frame, and avoid touching the adhesive side with your fingers.
After fitting, check that the gasket sits flat all the way round and that the camera module lines up correctly. Then switch the device back on and test the camera, the focus and the sealing of the area. If the battery becomes excessively hot or starts to swell at any point, stop immediately and do not use the device any further.
