Description
This set of 100 compatible screws is designed to replace the screws of the MacBook Pro 13" A2338, 2020 to 2023 models fitted with M1 or M2 chips. It allows you to refasten the bottom case, the logic board, the internal brackets or other parts you remove during a repair. A damaged, cross-threaded or missing screw can prevent a secure hold and cause play or scratches on the chassis, which is why it is useful to have spare screws to hand.
Before you start, take the time to note the position and length of each screw you remove, ideally by storing them in a tray or a small numbered box. Work on a clean surface, with a screwdriver suited to small Torx or Phillips screws, and avoid forcing anything. Switch off the device and, if possible, disconnect the battery before working on ribbon cables or internal components, taking care never to puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After reassembly, check that the case is properly aligned and that each screw turns without abnormal resistance. Power on the computer and check its general operation. If the battery was disconnected or replaced, a few full charge cycles can help the system recalibrate the battery level indicator.
