Description
This set contains two compatible chassis for iPhone X. The chassis is the metal structure that holds all the components of the device: screen, motherboard, battery and side buttons. When it is bent, cracked or worn, it can weaken the whole phone and make it harder to fix the screen in place.
This part lets you replace a chassis damaged by a fall or an impact. It suits a do-it-yourself repair, provided you have suitable small tools: precision screwdriver, suction cup, plastic spudger and antistatic tweezers. The compatible model is the iPhone X, and it is advisable to check the fit before any work.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a phone whose battery is swollen. Work on a clean surface at a moderate temperature, avoiding static electricity. After assembly, check that the parts are secure and carry out a few full charge cycles to verify correct operation.
