Description
This set of 3 integrated circuits is intended for the iPhone 12. It is the U5300 chip, which manages the Camera Control button. This part is used to replace the faulty component when the camera control no longer responds properly or does not work at all.
The faults concerned are usually linked to camera management: control that does not respond, erratic camera behaviour or malfunction after a drop or exposure to moisture. This part is a third-party manufactured item of the compatible type, sold as an economical solution for a repair.
Before you start, switch off the iPhone, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a swollen battery. After fitting, check that the camera and the control work before fully closing the device.
