Description
This set contains three IC (integrated circuit) chips of the Intermediate Frequency type, designed for the iPhone 12 mini. It is an electronic component compatible with this model, manufactured by a third party. This chip takes part in processing the phone's radio signals. When it fails, you may notice loss of signal, poor reception or wireless connectivity problems.
Before any work, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery to avoid short circuits. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static station if possible, and avoid excessive heat when desoldering. Handle the components by their edges to limit the risks linked to static electricity.
After fitting, check the operation of the mobile network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is advisable to carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to ensure the device is stable. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a phone whose battery is swollen.
